Over the past few weeks we have been writing poems. Melanie (Noah's mum) came into Room 5 to do some poetry workshops. She is collecting some poems for the annual
Poetry Box competition. One of the poems she taught us about was
shape poems.

Melanie has also been collecting book reviews for the books shortlisted for the NZ Post Book Awards and putting them onto the
Green Bay Writers website. A picture of Kashish's review was published and the publisher of the book left Kashish a message!
